Rod Person

STV currently has an opening in our Douglassville, PA office for a Rod Person in our Energy/Buildings and Facilities division. In this position you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of engineers and designers on multiple projects for the Oil and Gas/B&F Industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining field survey data
• Implementing project quality control
• Implementation of the project safety and project environmental programs
• Providing civil project completion documentation including "As-Built" records
• Providing training to field personnel on surveying techniques
• Meeting time and budgets given to each assignment
• Performing edits to field files before office processing

Capabilities and Credentials:

• Ability to work on multiple projects under the guidance of project managers / engineers / lead surveyor
• Ability to read and understand construction documents such as, drawings, sketches, 3d representations, etc.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

• 0-1 year of field experience required.
• Associate degree in architecture/Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred
• Working knowledge in recent versions of AutoCAD
• Must be able to travel with occasional overnight
