Job Description

Education/Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 2 years’ experience working in a related field or role
• Preference for candidate familiar with government and the unique challenges government faces in Human Resources and recruitment

• Experience in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Visio
Responsibilities:
• Updating and maintaining agency organizational charts
• Coordinating between department divisions to ensure real-time updates to employee office location/seating chart trackers, to ensure updated facilities information for HR and security purposes. This will include ensuring real time updates to employee assignments, including job titles, office and room assignments, supervisor assignments, etc.
• Provide project management support for agency real-estate projects, including movement of staff, IT equipment, and furniture
• Provide administrative and project management support to agency leadership in office moves and related facility’s needs
• Maintenance of the team’s onboarding/offboarding shared email account. This involves contacting all new employees to share start date information, the DHS Employee Guide, and coordinating with supervisors to assist in onboarding staff (ordering laptop, securing office, etc.)
• Coordination with various agency divisions to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of all staff
• Conducting exit interviews with offboarding staff
• Assistance with ad-hoc hiring reporting and other special projects
