Cardiac Sonographer Requirements:

-Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedure and related responsibilities required. 2+ years is preferred.

-ARDMS/RDCS certification is required. 

-CCI/RCS certification in Echo 

-Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.  

-Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision. 

-Must be up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment and pass any needed health screenings, including drug screening and background check. 

-Must have a current BLS/CPR


Cardiac Sonographer Job Responsibilities:

-Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging procedures, including OB, general, and vascular.

-Communicate pertinent clinical information and ultrasound findings to the radiologist.

-Provide excellent care to their patients while maintaining a good rapport and excellent service to all client hospitals and staff. 

-Utilize systems such as PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data.
