You will be part of the Support Team whose mission is to maintain customer applications, successfully deliver enhancements, updates and upgrades to customers, proactively monitor production environments and take actions to improve the overall user experience and the business value provided to our Customers. The Support Team operates with high quality standards and strong commitment to excellence and efficiency. Our team is very hands-on with a strong mindset of problem solving while also having the ability to think of the implementation holistically and provide solutions that solve the customer's long-term challenges.

Opportunity Statement

This is an exciting opportunity for a Run Manager at Ivalua. The Run Manager role is to manage Project Managers, Implementation specialists and Engineers focusing on issue backlog, ensuring adherence to standards and quality of deliverables (maintenance release). Determine appropriate throughput levels and track teams progress on defect eradication, determine appropriate actions to meet customer application SLAs for issue resolution based on severity and business priorities and also track the team's effectiveness to these goals.

You will be first point of contact for Clients who have implemented Ivalua Solution and are engaged with us in the Maintenance / Support (post go live) workstream.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run planning and stand-up meetings
• Monitor issue backlog and prioritize team deliverable toward SLA achievements
• Responsible for your maintenance team's efficiency, including reports, analysis, and forecasts
• Communicate standards and best practices.
• Guarantee financial balance of your projects
• Meet with all other Run managers, directors, and teams to review inter-dependency of all projects
• Perform scheduled and un-scheduled audits to ensure adherence to Ivalua's maintenance standards
• Support code review process
• Develop and execute strategies that support maintenance goals of quality, SLA, and customer satisfaction
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance measures
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Address customer concerns in a proactive and responsive manner
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
• Ensure that validated deliverable (maintenance release) meet functional and design specifications and requirements
• Diagnosing customer problems and testing product patches
• Documenting product issues in Ivalua tracking system (extranet)
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes

Skills You Need to Succeed:

• Business process understanding
• 5 plus years working as an engineer in a software environment with progressive movement into leadership / management.
• Clear communicator (written and verbal) – to ensure ability to write incident forms.
• To communicate priorities to team member and escalate to management
• Creative solving of technical problems – to ensure the ability troubleshoot defect with efficiency
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensures the ability to achieve SLAs
• Good judgment skills
• Technical understanding of software components and architectures
• The ability to work in a team and as an individual
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Work on processes, work with the project teams to identify the problems in the processes, make recommendations and drive process changes in our organization.

Desirable skills:

• Experience in Procurement / Spend Management/ Supply Chain
• Experience managing development teams in an agile environment.
• Previous experience managing outsourced projects/teams.
• Natural curiosity
• PMP or PRINCE 2 certification

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor (BS) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related field or foreign equivalent

The compensation range for this position is based upon careful and continual market compensation research. In addition to location, compensation may also vary based upon job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Title: Run Manager

Base Range minimum: $94,500

Base Range maximum: $175,500

Additional compensation / rewards: Ivalua offers an annual target bonus for this position conditional on individual and company performance. Other compensation factors may also be considered.
