Job Description:

Summary
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator I is responsible for communicating with the drivers and assigning inbound and outbound loads to specific doors and staging lanes.

Essential Functions

• Check truck drivers in and out.

• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity according with warehouse direction and vendor assignment in warehouse.

• Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation. Partner with the inventory department to resolve any issues .

• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed.

• Update required reports on a timely basis.

• Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs.

• Other duties as required or assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

• Excellent PC skills in MS Office intermediate required

• SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge intermediate required

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required

• Two (2) years or more SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) required

• Excellent PC skills in MS Office intermediate required

• SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge intermediate required

• Depending on location employee may be required to be equipment certified.

Safety Sensitive

Non-Regulated Tech, Depending on location, may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified.
