Summary/Objective

Reporting to the President and CEO of CFM Materials (CFMM), The Vice-President of Programs will have overall responsibility for leading the CFMM Programs team in managing the P&L for all CFM & LEAP products within the company. The role covers all aspects of the material value stream chain and is responsible for leading the development and update of our acquisition models, the management of our inventory including the investment in repairs, and the setting of sales prices.

Working in close collaboration with the CFMM leadership team, the role will be critical in determining and supporting the execution of the overall strategy of the company in support of parent company objectives while supporting a world class team.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Lead and help develop a world class program management team to support all program management activities. Strong demonstrated leadership qualities are critical for the role.
  • Lead in the development of market differentiated strategies and value propositions to support CFM Materials acquisitions and sales targets. Create and lead tactical action items that support the strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across the global marketplace with entities that participate in the CFM & LEAP services aftermarket.
  • Maintain current market knowledge regarding both the supply and demand dynamics of CFM56, LEAP engines and parts; along with how it affects market pricing.
  • Set target pricing for CFMM; balancing both supply and demand forces.
  • Participate in the creation of market forecasts in collaboration with our business development team.
  • Support and maintain the CFMM acquisition models working in a collaborative manner with the Trading and Sales teams.
  • Accountable for profitability of acquisitions and sales.
  • Knowledge of technical records that impact the value of used parts.
  • Lead the repair strategy for the business.
  • Provide leadership and participate in negotiations to close on contract discussions for collaboration opportunities.
  • Prepare and present strategy and analysis to senior management, including the Board of Directors of CFM Materials.
  • Collaborate across all functions of CFM Materials to ensure strategy and action items are aligned horizontally across teams.
  • Management of all CFMM data elements that allow the company to make data driven decisions.
  • Attend industry related events and take on an ambassador role for the company.
  • Maintain close collaboration with GE Aerospace and Safran CFM teams.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to connect with colleagues effectively and easily, both internal and external.

Job requirements

Knowledge / Experience Desired

  • 10+ years of experience in the aircraft engine market.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or engineering, master's degree beneficial
  • Existing relationships across the engine market with owners and operators of aircraft engine assets.
  • Knowledge of the CFM56 and LEAP markets.
  • Fluency in Microsoft office tools.
