DescriptionSAIC is seeking multiple Software Developers to join our team in Huntsville, AL.The selected candidate will be a member of a team providing software development and support to the AvMC Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate. The candidate will primarily be responsible for developing applications to support Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT). The applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability to support application design, development, testing, and documentation.Candidate will support and participate in:- Daily Teams meetings- Agile Sprint Planning, Review, and Retro meetings- System/Subsystem design- Performance Studies and Analyses- Customer Requirements analysis and interpretation- Verification & Validation of System Specifications & Design Documentation- Software Design Reviews- Technical Interchange meetings- Configuration Control BoardsQualificationsEducation Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and two (2) years of software design and development; Six (6) years additional experience can be accepted in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).Clearance Requirements:- Must possess an active Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required.Required Experiences/Skills:- Experience with agile software development methodology like Scrum- Experience with programming in C#/.NET using Visual Studio or VS Code- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS- Experience with Git- Experience working with agile tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or GitLab- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, artifacts, and package feedsSAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
