Why do we need you ?The Junior Digital Design Specialist is an entry-level digital design role, supporting a variety of digital project initiatives within CertainTeed's Corporate Marketing Team, including the 1CTX initiative, which drives forward digital excellence on all customer-facing platforms. This role offers a blend of hands-on UX and design work, along with exposure to various aspects of the marketing organization through an informal rotational learning program.The position is responsible for digital asset design and management, including responsibilities such as designing digital assets, maintaining the company’s design system, and contributing to cross-functional projects. The role requires attention to detail, creativity, organization, and commitment to delivery of high-quality results to meet deadlines.The ideal candidate is an early-career professional seeking to develop skills in UX and UI design while gaining a broader understanding of corporate marketing strategies. Contribution to team and company culture, initiative to learn quickly and contribute widely, and commitment to delivering individual pieces of larger projects are essential skills and mindsets for success.Is this job for you ?• Help facilitate cross-functional collaboration by organizing team updates, maintaining communication channels, and ensuring alignment on key project goals.• Support the creation of digital assets like iconography, landing pages, banners and other graphics under the direction of digital design manager• Ensure designs align with CertainTeed’s brand guidelines• Contribute to maintaining the Figma design system.• Assist in creating and updating design guidelines for internal and external use.• Apply knowledge of typography, color theory, layout principles, and design best practices to support the needs of various creative projects.• Collaborate with and support various teams within the marketing organization to gain insights and experience in key areas, including: digital marketing, brand management, creative design, customer experience, and more.• Provide general operational support for the marketing team, including scheduling, file management and organization, and reporting.A team ready to welcome youWe Provide Unique Options To Fit Your Unique Lives!
