Sales and Marketing Intern

You'll join our marketing team reporting to our Sr. Director of Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing and assist with lead management, marketing operations, and various corporate marketing related projects. As a Sales and Marketing Intern, you will be an individual contributor. This is a great opportunity to learn the tools, systems, and critical work B2B marketers need to master in order to drive impact to a business.

This role is open in San Francisco, New York City, or Remote locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful marketing lead handoff process via data contact record merging, routing, followup, and ops ticketing
  • Maintain data hygiene by scrubbing list uploads and appending data as necessary
  • Coordinate team meetings and events, including prepping materials, coordinating expectations, taking notes and actioning follow-up items
  • Assist in demand gen program execution, including coordinating gifting, shipping, expense reconciliation, and updating our project management platform Asana etc.
  • Create social media posts and other content as needed
  • Conduct research projects in cooperation with Product or Content Marketing teams

The impact you'll make:

  • Better CRM data hygiene and followup effectiveness with inbound leads
  • Greater marketing project and program velocity
  • Day to day organization of team activities and meetings

Skills you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in progress or completed with a focus in Marketing, Communications, or Business Management
  • Comfort with a variety of online tools and software (Google suite, etc.)
  • Killer project management and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn (fast) while doing
  • High attention to detail
  • Comfort with executing a wide and changing number of tasks
  • Experience in B2B marketing or sales a plus

Additional Information:

Minimum salary of $20/hr to maximum of $22/hr.

The range provided is NextRoll's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. Consult with your Recruiter during the initial call to determine a more targeted range based on these job-related factors.
