Sales Development Representative

The Role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for responding to inbound marketing inquiries and qualifying inbound meeting requests with the goal of identifying sales qualified opportunities. The SDR role collaborates closely with both Marketing and Sales. 

Responsibilities

  • Engage inbound marketing inquiries in a relevant business discussion designed to uncover quality sales opportunities
  • Achieve monthly quotas of marketing or self-sourced qualified opportunities, in addition to other targets including internal SLAs, volume and frequency of contact, lead conversion percentage, bookings and campaign metrics
  • Engage with the marketing team to provide feedback on demand programs in order to drive the optimal responses and conversion
  • Professionally communicate with all appropriate levels of decision makers and influencers
  • Communicate with prospects in a consultative selling environment
  • Expertly research companies and contacts via web and internal tools/services
