About the role:


This posting is for an in-person position at our company headquarters at Industry City in Brooklyn, NY (1 block from D, R, N trains at 36th Street station).  


Fundraise Up's team is growing! We're looking for you to join the team as a high-performing member of our sales team. Ideally, you've worked in enterprise sales before and are all-in on bringing in more of the world's most recognizable nonprofits as Fundraise Up customers.


We are looking for dynamic, high-performing, and hard working individuals to join our expanding inside sales team. The ideal candidate is excited to pursue a career in sales and has done their research on what makes an outstanding salesperson. A successful SDR is highly coachable, tenacious and curious. We look for talented people who are self starters and have excellent communication skills


Sales Development Reps are the front line of the sales process and spend their days prospecting into nonprofit organizations. SDRs are measured by the number of qualified leads they generate and the amount of new business revenue they source. Success in this role is obtained by hitting and exceeding monthly goals, consistently staying ahead of daily metrics, and being highly coachable and adaptable to change, all in a team-focused environment. The ultimate goal in the Sales Development Role is to graduate into a full cycle sales role as an Account Executive.


What you'll do:


  • Making 80+ cold calls and sending 20+ net new emails a day to non-profit organizations
  • Methodically qualifying, building, and managing an accurate sales pipeline in HubSpot
  • Consistently surpassing your monthly quotas through hard work and implementing feedback
  • Taking a consultative approach to sales — being highly curious, asking insightful questions, overcoming objections and understanding your client’s needs will be critical to your success.


About you:


  • 0-2 years of inside sales or relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills & dynamic telephone presence - No fear of the phones!
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills
  • Ability to connect and empathize with our prospect base
  • A highly coachable attitude and motivation to learn
  • Positive attitude and a motivation to win
  • Experience using a sales CRM, preferably HubSpot
