Sales enablement is a critical part of the growth org at Datadog. The team drives high-level strategic decision making across go-to-market, leads strategic planning, enables the field and adds operational rigor across the company. Our sales enablement function works across go-to-market to ensure our company goals are met and our salespeople reach their potential.
The opportunity
Datadog is looking for a strategically focused Customer Success Enablement manager to build, deploy, and monitor a Global CS Enablement program. In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders across the company to align on the CS organization and to create best in class curriculum and process design for the teams. This role reports to the Director of Sales Enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships and collaborate cross functionally with key business stakeholders on a global basis (Sales, CS leadership, PMM, PM, Growth Strategy)
- Design, build and implement the CS teams educational journey from onboarding, to ever board, just in time, and manager development
- Build an ongoing training and certification program (demo certs, etc) for CS teams. Establish the cadence/need for recertification
- Strategize, develop, and deliver effective enablement for high-impact CS playbooks in collaboration with CS leadership, PMM, and other stakeholders
- Develop scalable ways to introduce new content and update existing trainings
- Work with Growth Strategy teams to gather data and insights to identify key learning opportunities and gaps
- Track, measure, and innovate efficiency and efficacy of training, tools and processes for the CS team - provide recommendations for ongoing improvements
Requirements
- 5+ years in learning and development, revenue enablement, sales, go-to-market (bonus points for a combination!)
- Experience with CS methodologies, processes, and enablement best practices such as customer journey, curriculum creation, and competency based program design
- Project management experience delivering quality product on short timeframes
- High ownership: you won’t be satisfied until every GtM function achieves their potential
- Experience developing dynamic and engaging trainings for various audiences
- Appetite for the technical: you’ll jump right and learn how our products work
- Outstanding verbal and written communicator: you make the complex simple
- Team oriented and empathetic: you can work with analysts, engineers, reps, whomever!
- BA / BS required
Bonus points
- Experience at a high growth Software-as-a-Service or technology company
- Experience in a Customer Success role or with Customer Success Enablement
- Knowledge of DevOps or cloud technologies
- Experience enabling salespeople particularly with a structured methodology
- Experience building scalable programs at our scale or greater
