SALES ENGINEERS
Listed in the Inc. 5000 for multiple consecutive years as the fastest growing Talent Management platform in America, we are expanding our Sales Engineering Team to continue our development of an intuitive, high-touch sales experience unparalleled in our industry. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Wondering what the first year on the job looks like? Here's a glimpse:
- Ramp into your new position through our extensive training program and with the guidance of an assigned mentor.
- Learn the ClearCompany platform, beginning to end.
- Explore the Human Resources world, covering topics ranging from the various roles in organizations, industry-specific needs and challenges, to the common (and uncommon) technologies used throughout.
- Partner with Sales and prospects in determining customer requirements and ClearCompany product fit, and guide prospects to uncover additional needs throughout discovery conversations.
- Utilize your technical and product understanding to assist Sales Executives and Account Managers create and deliver compelling ClearCompany client demonstrations to audiences with varying levels of technical mastery, and make expert recommendations on product needs and process adjustments.
- Understand the competitive differentiators of the ClearCompany platform and clearly communicate the value and benefits of the software to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with ClearCompany’s Partnerships team to train current partners to resell the ClearCompany platform and demonstrate the value of ClearCompany’s software to new prospective partners and resellers.
- Listen in on sales conversations and collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies to win the opportunity.
WHAT WE'D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
A great candidate:
- Has experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, or Product Management, preferably supporting SaaS industry product(s).
- Enjoys problem solving and can translate technical knowledge into language understood by non-technical audiences.
- Can hear and understand pain points expressed by our prospects, apply industry knowledge to dig deeper into issues, and position themselves as a trusted consultant through comprehensive product demonstrations.
- Adapts their thinking and presentation style on the fly to accommodate changing inquiries around users, available technology, cost, and potential impact at the big-picture and granular levels.
- A drive to develop the best customer experiences, bring deals to close, and grow revenue.
The base compensation for this position is $64,000 to $84,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for an additional compensation incentive in the form of performance based bonuses paid out quarterly. The bonus payout is $45,000 annually when performing on target. A detailed bonus plan will be provided in writing at the time of offer.
