STRATEGIC PARTNER MANAGER

Listed in the Inc. 5000 for multiple consecutive years as the fastest-growing Talent Management platform in America, we are expanding our Channel Sales Team with a mission to expand the ClearCompany partner ecosystem and drive additional revenue through our partner channels.

This is a unique opportunity for a go-getter who is comfortable with navigating ambiguity and creating processes to scale a high-growth business through existing partnerships - and then executing on that process. This is an opportunity to work with the best HR Technology & Services organizations in the world, and to transform the way our partners and their customers think about talent technology. As a key contributor to ClearCompany’s Channel Partnerships team, you will have a high degree of ownership to define your work streams and the strategic direction of the team. You will work closely with the Manager of Channel Sales, and leaders across Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Product to shape this immensely strategic function.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

  • You will join forces with our Manager, Channel Sales, and the rest of the partnership team - all fanatical about creating the best partnerships and bringing high impact relationships to market.
  • You will work in a highly visible and collaborative environment across our Channel, Sales, Pre-Sales, Operations, Product, and Marketing teams.
  • This strategic, highly visible role will require you to frequently interact with senior leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

With the over-arching goal of driving new partner revenue, you will drive relationships and programs with ClearCompany's partners that drive new business and end customer retention in our partner ecosystem. This includes building and maintaining relationships across all levels, articulating joint value propositions, and developing and executing demand generation programs, and a go-to-market plan. The go-to-market plan will include pipeline development programs, partner organizational structures and heat maps, targeted account plans, and resource training programs.

  • In your first 90 days, you will:
    • Become an expert on the ClearCompany Talent Platform and the competitive landscape having an ability to demonstrate the ClearCompany platform and effectively differentiate and position ClearCompany as the platform of choice among partner teams and their customers
    • Build a territory Go-To-Market plan in collaboration with your manager, and begin execution of that plan
    • You will plan, execute, and evaluate successful partnership enablement activities
  • In your first 180 days you will:
    • Guide Marketing strategy and activities to ensure they effectively support the overall Channel Sales plan and they directly impact growth objectives
    • Develop strong relationships and build a strategy with your Partners to drive sales of ClearCompany software to their customer bases
    • Build a “trusted advisor” relationship across all areas of the partner
    • Align Pre-Sales Solution Consulting efforts and post-sale service delivery initiatives to craft a successful sales outcome
    • Develop and execute an effective strategy for increasing leads and opportunities

WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • 2+ years in sales, business development, or channel
  • Track record of success in quota-driven roles
  • Experience in managing sales processes
  • Prior employment at early/growth stage company strongly preferred
  • HR Technology experience strongly preferred
  • Domain experience in the Human Capital Management space is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong customer empathy, ability to uncover their pain points, and offer meaningful and creative solutions.
  • Ability to operate honestly and tactfully with customers; push back when required with the ability to explain why it is in their best interest.
  • A problem-solving mentality and the ability to quickly distil difficult concepts into easy-to-understand stories.

The base compensation for this position is $65,000 to $70,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for additional compensation incentives in the form of performance-based commissions paid out quarterly and an Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Achievement of quota will result in on-target variable earnings (OTVE) of 106,500. A detailed commission plan will be provided in writing at the time of offer.
