Sales Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Consultant to join our team in the hospitality connectivity space. As a Solution Consultant, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by providing strategic consultation to our clients and prospects with the intent of maximizing deal closure volume. You will be responsible for understanding their business needs and objectives, and providing customized solutions that will optimize their distribution channels. You will be part of the commercial team and work closely with our sales, account management, product and technical teams to identify potential opportunities and develop proposals that meet the needs of our current and potential clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultative sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
  • Understand client needs and requirements and provide customized solutions to address their unique challenges
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as our competitors and the industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and engineering to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth by ensuring seamless implementation of solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at all levels of the customer organization
  • Analyze data and provide recommendations for optimization of revenue management and distribution strategies
  • Continuously evaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations to customers
  • Be the subject matter expert for our clients on our suite of products and services


Qualifications:

  • Masters's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or Consulting with significant exposure to the hospitality industry
  • Deep understanding of distribution channels and technology solutions in the hospitality industry including online travel agencies (OTAs) and global distribution systems (GDSs)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex solutions to customers at all levels
  • Proven track record of successful project management and implementation of solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A good understanding of industry CRSs, demand channels, connectivity options, caching methodologies, SaaS and cloud solutions. Knowledge of RateGain product suite (Preferred)
