Sales Manager (Small and Mid Market)

This is a remote position. We are a global team that leverages the latest technology to communicate with our colleagues across the globe. There will be times in which this role would be required to travel to a local office for in person collaborations with your team.


Being a Sales Manager at iManage Means…

You are a passionate and competitive SaaS sales leader with experience managing an inside sales team focused on selling to small and midsize market segments. You have a demonstrated background mentoring, coaching, and developing sales people to successfully hit annual revenue targets. You have contributed to defining go to market strategy, and collaborated with other global leaders to achieve quantitative business outcomes.

You will manage the sales team responsible for our North American small to midsize legal customers (up to 100 users). This is an incredible opportunity to lead a team in our fastest growing customer segment with a rich addressable market. This team is fueled by a strong inbound lead flow (via Business Development and Marketing). You understand the pace that this market segment demands, as well as the importance of pipeline visibility and predictability.

iM Responsible For…

  • Coaching and inspiring the small and mid market regional (S-MMR) sales professionals to achieve revenue targets, develop their careers and find meaning in their work.
  • Conducting regular 1:1s with Account Executives to help with territory planning, prospecting, sales strategies, and individual development plans.
  • Bringing additional predictability and key pipeline metrics to accurately forecast team performance.
  • Ensuring visibility into forecasting by regularly reporting on the pipeline status.
  • Overseeing the indirect sales opportunities that our partner network manages and ensuring partners are equipped with the needed resources to handle S-MMR leads.
  • Collaborating with iManage teams such as Marketing, Sales Operations, Business Development, Pre-Sales, and more to capture the untapped customer base that can benefit from iManage solutions.
  • Strategizing on future team growth strategy and determining when to add additional account executive headcount.
  • Mentoring early stage sales talent and creating development plans to train new Account Executives into handling the full sales cycle.
  • Continuing to develop the go to market strategy and value proposition to small and midsize legal customers.
  • Fostering a culture of recognition and continuous learning.

iM Qualified Because I Have…

  • 5+ years selling B2B SaaS Solutions.
  • 5+ years of coaching, leading and managing a Sales team focused on small and mid market customers.
  • A demonstrated background hiring, developing, and retaining successful sales talent.
  • Experience producing accurate sales forecasts and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience leveraging systems such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, Clari, and Gong for reporting and pipeline/performance management.
  • A passion for managing in a high volume and fast paced environment.
  • A quantitative mindset and experience bringing predictability to the sales cycle.
