About the role:

Our Sales Support Specialists are key to extending our “Worry Free Experience” to our Intermedia Voice sales partners. As part of our Sales Team, Specialists assure accurate, efficient communications with our partners, their customers and within our own channel team. This role is responsible for project management from quote-to-order and provide white glove service to contribute to continued growth in our partner channel. Successful specialists who excel in this role and demonstrate a desire and ability to sell may be considered for lead positions plus a wide variety of sales and support positions in our company.

What you will be doing:

  • Handle inbound calls and email requests from external channel partners and internal sales groups, including de-escalating situations.
  • Assist with quote-to-order process and follow up on related tasks.
  • Partner with Order Provisioning Team for provisioning voice accounts and porting.
  • Work with various Sales Teams to manage account pricing.
  • Act as the point of contact for channel partners for voice issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them.
  • Guide the channel partners through troubleshooting and navigating the portal and Intermedia products and services.

What you will bring to the role:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in customer support, project management, and/or sales roles or support.
  • Experience working within an inbound call queue.
  • Tech savvy, preferably with telecom or SaaS industry experience.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools.
  • Capability to successfully interact and build trust with the channel partners and sales teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and learn quickly on the job.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Self-starter, requiring little direct supervision.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Must be a team player.
