If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good– you’ve come to the right place.We are looking for an experienced and strategic marketer to lead the planning, execution and oversight of a quarterly portfolio of marketing events, including but not limited to proprietary events, executive engagements, and third party conferences. This position is responsible for program conceptualization, management, analysis, tracking, and reporting for strategic marketing initiatives with an emphasis on generating high quality pipeline focused across all segments and industries for our core products.The ideal candidate is a hardworking marketer with strong critical thinking & project management skills, data analytics experience, and a validated ability to remain calm under pressure, but also graceful and confident while working with senior executives and partners.Responsibilities• Act as a strategic marketing liaison to Sales, including the representation and strategic positioning of key field events, marketing programs, third-party conference ancillaries and alliance partner marketing activities• As an expert in – and advocate for – the Executive audience, you will be responsible for developing field events vision and market strategy• Deliver campaign results and programs to SVPs and AVPs to build and progress pipeline as well as accelerate close of business• Drive virtual, regional and national campaigns to build interest in executive program events and post-event lead development• Evaluate, measure and report on strategic effectiveness and return on investment for program efforts• Work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both critical thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution• Assist the Market Director in development of quarterly marketing strategy in support of Sales objectives• Lead cross-functional programming efforts with extended teams: Industry, Clouds, Alliances, and Marketing partnersRequired Skills• 4-6 years of in person and virtual event marketing experience (preferably in SaaS)• Strong project management skills and an ability to develop and deliver events within a very high-velocity environment• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - must have the ability to communicate with executives, team members at every level of the organization as well as customers, partners, agencies, etc.• Ability to work independently against tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment, keeping a sharp eye on detail and accuracy• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to “turn on a dime” and think through problems to come up with innovative solutions• Be an agent for change and innovation: experience leading change and ambiguity, taking ownership and crafting breaking structures to drive innovation• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to listen optimally, socialize ideas across functions and articulate the vision both internally and externally• A quick learner with an analytical orientation, while also possessing strategic vision, consensus-building skills and consultative style• Can lead sophisticated projects spanning multiple teams• Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams• Travel requiredAccommodationsIf you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.Posting StatementAt Salesforce we believe that the business of business is to improve the state of our world.
