The main areas of responsibility are annual budget and workforce planning, ongoing budget and workforce management and reporting, with monthly reviews with the marketing function lead and other key stakeholders. The senior manager will have two direct reports.We are looking for an experienced Planning & Strategy Manager with a track record of supporting sophisticated marketing organizations.Reporting to the Director, Functional Marketing Planning & Strategy within Global Marketing Operations, you will help craft the strategic direction of one of the Global Marketing functions by driving the annual planning cycle for program budget and headcount, using data-driven decision-making, and working with the organization throughout the year on budget execution, reporting and optimization. Additionally you will work within a collaborative, cross-functional team to deliver insights on marketing performance and recommend improvements.Key Responsibilities• Lead annual, quarterly, and ad hoc marketing planning processes with agility and accuracy for the supported function• Enable marketers to implement fully on the planned program budget by providing ongoing budget management and reporting• Lead end-of-quarter budget close processes• Ensure budget and accounting compliance, with enablement of supported teams on spend governance• Contribute to the efficient resourcing of the supported organization by providing headcount process management, guidance, and reporting• Build positive relationships with key partners, acting as a trusted advisor• Support the preparation for key business updates including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)• Conduct quarterly budget and headcount reviews with the functional Lead and their direct reports• Create key business & marketing performance reports, within the context of the marketing org’s budget and headcount, to drive conversations/decision-making (monthly marketing reviews and other forums)• Collaborate closely with our extraordinary Marketing Data Science and Analytics team to deliver spend efficiency and business impact insights• Deliver strategic insights to allow the team to optimize current marketing programsRequired Qualifications And Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience with an emphasis on marketing strategy and operations• Expert in Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel/PowerPoint and Google Suite technologies• Salesforce Analytics required, certification a plus• Tableau (Desktop, Server, Cloud, Data Stage, CRMa) experience, Certified Tableau Data Analyst a plus• Strong analytical and financial skills• Ability to think creatively, identify and tackle problems through data analysis• Excellent communication and presentation skills - a track record of delivering business analytics to senior executives• Ability to work with cross-functional teams• Excellent time management and prioritization skills• Highly motivated, meticulous, and a self starterThis is not a remote position. The Marketing Return to Office policy is 4 days per week.
