Salesforce Solution Architect

General Summary:

The Solutions Architect is responsible for facilitating solution-driven outcomes for business initiatives. This role works in partnership with cross-functional teams to develop integrated and scalable solution views that meet the requirements for all end-to-end systems and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establishes operational plans for the Business Applications team
• Develops and implements new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans that will have an impact on the achievement of functional results
• Provides support to the IT team, with a high attention to detail
• May require communication with ConnectWise leadership
• Designs solutions by considering the core business domains and supporting systems, data and integrations flows, and non-functional concerns
• Collaborates with business partners and product teams to convert functional requirements and business outcomes into scalable, efficient, and supportable technology solutions
• Works cross-functionally to gather requirements, document use-cases, and develop capability and architecture views
• Communicates design, context, and considerations as the architecture lead
• Organizes discussions, planning, and technical design for solutions with development teams
• Helps assist and drive technology roadmap vision into actionable steps for technology teams O
• Organizes application of patterns, approaches, practices, and technical design maturity to a business solution
• Produces and maintains solution views and blueprints
• Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery
• Assures that all deliverables are built to specification
• Manages architecture governance deliverables and delivery against program timelines
• Manages technical design issues and key decisions escalated during project delivery
• Provides technical consultancy, guidance, instruction and leadership to various technology partners and delivery teams
• Provides guidance and direction to project teams to ensure compliance with the architectural standards, patterns, and best practices
• Understands implications and trade-offs of reliability, scalability, operational costs, ease of adoption by organization, recruiting, etc.
• Maintains understanding of latest cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options

• Strong project management, collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, middleware, and technical architecture design

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Preferred: Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management
• Preferred: Experience designing solutions for enterprise SaaS platforms, such as Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, etc.
• Preferred: Certifications in Salesforce, Zuora, and/or NetSuite
