Research and Development University Innovation Program Manager

Samsung Research America is seeking a highly motivated R&D University Innovation Program Manager to lead academic collaboration programs, identifying new research themes and managing partnerships with universities.

Skills

Proven experience in running early-stage technology research programs
Strong professional network with academic institutions and industry
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to navigate ambiguous environments and adapt to multiple management levels

Responsibilities

Manage SRA’s academic collaboration programs as the primary liaison for university engagements
Define and implement processes to discover, evaluate, prioritize, and manage academic research collaborations
Serve as the company-wide ambassador for SRA’s academic collaboration programs
Represent project milestones and impact in review meetings with executive leadership
Partner with SRA teams to plan and present research outputs

Education

Master’s degree in technology or engineering discipline
