SOC Performance Engineer

Samsung Research America is seeking a Performance Engineer to build benchmarks for characterizing SoCs for various Galaxy devices. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in computer architecture and strong coding skills.

Skills

C++ programming
Python development
Knowledge of operating systems principles
Experience with Android architecture
Use of performance characterization tools

Responsibilities

Understand high-level system architecture of SoC embedded systems
Board bring-up and understanding of subsystems initialization
Research and analyze workloads for compute, memory, and power characterization
Execute workloads and develop tools for data analysis
Collaborate across teams to optimize performance and energy

Education

BSc/Masters with 3+ years of experience
PhD with 1+ years of experience or equivalent
