Corporate Director of 12-Step Programming:

The purpose of the position is to oversee, be the primary point of contact and trainer to all staff who facilitate 12 step curriculum; be the advocate for any and all recovery related issues, support bridging 12 step model and clinical models of care, identify growth opportunities, and address staffing conflicts, etc.; primary goal is to uphold and enhance the 12-step program; responsible for training, and implementation across all locations within the San Antonio Recovery systems of care.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing and providing supervision to all 12 step coordinators
- Ability to audit group process and assess fidelity to the 12-step model
- Facilitate Morning Check-In, Big Book, and self-help meetings when appropriate
- Working closely with 12 Step Coordinators to ensure all duties are being fulfilled and challenges are being addressed and resolved
- Communicate effectively with clinical team, RSS, and admissions through phone calls, email, and face to face meetings
- Entering all client interactions into the EMR and assisting with keeping all EMR files up to date and with correct information
- Ability to think critically
- Work with all 12 step facilitators to assure proper group documentation is completed
- The ability to make decisions and find alternative solutions to problems
- Ability to provide on-going training and education to all staff around the 12-step program
- Attend Morning Staffing Meeting, 12 Step Meetings and Recovery Planning Meeting to model effective integration of the 12step curriculum
- Attend weekly Clinical Leadership meeting to foster a better understanding of the 12 step curriculum, and support bridging the gap between clinical and 12 step recovery
- Working closely with 12 Step Coordinators to ensure all duties are being fulfilled and problems are being addressed
- Assuring that all teams have the resources necessary to support the 12-step curriculum
- Must meet pre-employment and maintain all applicable state, national, and job-related guidelines for reference checking, background screening,10 panel urine drug screening, health screening, DMV (if applicable), insurance (if applicable), and license/credential verifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher
- Significant experience and knowledge of the 12-step program/community
- Experience in developing and implementing 12 step group curriculums
- Working knowledge of clinical practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in servant leadership
- Time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel to all locations
- Ability to identify and implement changes needed to enhance the services offered at SARC
