Responsible for the development of work scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements. Prepares, negotiates, and approves contracts for contractors or consultants.Duties And Responsibilities• Manages and coordinates all activities leading to the successful completion of customer experience projects that drive improvements in SDG&E’s core business of providing excellent customer service including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates and design. Develops and maintains project parameters for project requirements. Provides direction to contractors, consultants, and project team.• Develops and implements customer experience initiatives that align with the customer service strategic plan. Leads projects identified in the Customer Experience Review (CXR) process to implement service improvements across SDG&E. Assists management in preparing for customer council comprised of senior executives across the company.• Analyzes and determines regulatory impacts and requirements of the project.• Manages related workforce planning, budget analysis, and prepare budget forecasts.• Researches and evaluates available contractors and consultants. Prepares, negotiates, and approves or recommends approval of contracts. Negotiates contracts changes.• Testifies before and/or prepares supporting documentation for CPUC and other government agencies concerning cost estimates.• Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).QualificationsHybrid Schedule• Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow the employee to work onsite three days per week and remotely on the remaining workdays.• Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.Required Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Business, related field or equivalent training and/or experience.• 5 years related experience or equivalent experience/training.• Project management knowledge is required.• Must be able to assess the potential financial impact of a project to the Company.• Must possess the ability to review complex problems and propose innovative solutions.Preferred Qualifications• Project Management certification.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, disability or protected veteran status.Area of InterestProgram/Project Management Full-Time/Part-TimeFull-time Total Rewards PhilosophyNote: SDG&E strives to ensure that employees are paid equitably and competitively.
