S&CS Manager

1. Lead technical sales activities within assigned region, including identifying new opportunities, developing solutions, reaching underserved markets, and developing new sales channels.

2. Direct work tasks and lead employees to meet S&CS objectives.

3. Partner with regional sales leadership in strategically aligning the region/territory to meet SEL's strategic objective. Responsible for assigned customers, territory or region, with moderate complexity and size of territory. May be geographically diverse.

4. Partner with sales channels and other SEL divisions to meet S&CS objectives.

5. Develop and maintain relationships with customers; ensure customers experience exceptional customer service and technical support in region Visible representative of SEL at conferences, trade shows, seminars, and/or technical society activities. Typically presents at these events.

6. Learn and teach SEL Values, Principles of Operation, and the concepts of World Class Manufacturing throughout the region or territory. Ensure region or territory operates according to these principles.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Typically 10+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in a technical sales environment

Demonstrated knowledge of electric power utility industry sales, customer service, and technical support

Knowledge of successful financial, business, and sales models

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills

Ability to learn concepts and technical details of SEL solutions and competitive solutions

Willing to travel up to 30%

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
