Who we are
PSI is a network of locally rooted, globally connected organizations working to achieve consumer-powered healthcare — people-centered health systems that ensure quality, affordable care wherever and whenever it is needed. Our origins in sexual and reproductive health have grown into a broader mission. Today, we work with the public and private sectors as well as local communities, prioritizing people’s voice and choice and developing solutions to meet their essential health needs. Over the past five decades, we have helped push boundaries, break taboos, set trends, and develop innovative solutions to complex global health challenges.
Join us!
PSI’s WASH Team is a dynamic group of people doggedly focused on building core sanitation market functionality in the geographies we work – to ensure markets continue to grow without PSI intervention. Our success formula is that we are curious not status-quo, people-first not solutions-first, deliberate not formulaic, allies not gatekeepers, and doers not theorists. PSI’s WASH portfolio supports the implementation of market development programs in both urban and rural areas to ensure consumer-centered sustainable sanitation solutions for target populations. PSI seeks a Sanitation Technology Intern to support improvement in design, engineering, and processes to offer better sanitation products and improve safely managed sanitation. You will assist PSI projects in their assessment of best-fit products and technologies, training plans, and workflows.
PSI seeks an Intern that will learn about what it's like to work for PSI, build relationships, and gain valuable real-world experience by performing a variety of tasks for our WASH team. Contribute to or lead special projects, support daily operations, receive coaching and mentorship, attend internal learning sessions hosted by other departments, and engage with colleagues at all levels across the organization.
