Marketing Intern

What's the Short Version?

The Marketing Intern is responsible supporting the system implementation of Figma during an 8-week program. They assist with creating templates, auto layouts and components that our team will regularly use for projects.

 

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Conduct a variety of general administrative tasks for the Creative team.
  • Assist with design and layout work as needed.
  • Receive, track, and tag incoming/outgoing merchandise samples for the Marketing department.
  • Help to ship and track product to and from photo shoots.
  • May perform data entry activities, database management operations, and file maintenance.
  • May perform or support special Marketing projects.
  • Participate in intern cohort activities including: professional development workshops, warehouse tours, and meetings with leadership.

 

What Are We Looking For?

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in marketing, merchandising or related field.
  • Strong skills in Figma and logo creation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly.
  • Administrative skills which must include excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Responsive to staff needs, including professionalism, respect and consideration of others.

 

What's Our Offer?

Pay: You`ll earn $21.00 on an hourly basis.

 

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked.

 

What Should You Expect?

Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Work environment is moderately quiet. Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
