JOB DESCRIPTION : An order processor must strive to provide great customer service by quickly and accurately selecting product in designated lo-bay bins based on customer pick lists and ensuring that the quantity, quality and correct labeling of outbound order is correct.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verify merchandise in bin location matches item on pick list accurately.
Must look at product to confirm style, color and size.
Visually inspect product to confirm there are no irregularities, damages, etc.
Able to fold product neatly.
Meet minimum production and accuracy requirements.
Prepare package for shipment to customer.
Place completed order in designated area.
REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
Demonstrates ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require; Rotate to restock and checking function as needed. Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts on an as needed basis.
Maintains a safe, neat and clean work area by adhering to SanMar’s safety regulations.
Able to clean while working, open cases and remove debris from restock and lo-bay areas, as needed.
Able to work independently.
Welcome, help and teach new employees as required.
Assist in building a positive and productive work environment.
Mandatory overtime may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Comprehend oral and written instructions.
Must be able to read, write, and have sufficient English reading ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
Must have basic math skills in counting and quantity.
Strong attention to detail.
