Your educational efforts will provide community stakeholders across local screening ecosystems a better understanding of the disease, screening, and approaches to effectively identify and screen people at-risk.The Community Relations and Education Manager is a field-based member of the Patient Services team, reporting to Head of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) CORE, the Director of Community Relations & Regional Screening. T1D COREs are members of the Specialty Patient Services team and serve the Tzield business under General Medicines. The CORE team supports the patient-centric business model by providing disease and screening education to patients, families, communities, and health systems impacted by T1D, for which Sanofi provides a treatment option. The COREs establish strong working relationships with patients, community groups, and healthcare professionals in support of local access to and development of screening ecosystems within communities. We chase the miracles of science every single day, pursuing progress to make a real impact on millions of patients around the world.Main Responsibilities• Leads education and awareness efforts about disease state and screening, in concentrated geographic areas virtually and in-person• Shares education on risk and screening directly to patients, families, and community groups• Executes screening events with patient groups, community groups, health systems, and offices• Educates health systems, offices, and HCP groups about identifying ideal approaches and pathways to improve screening access• Delivers education to external stakeholders on screening infrastructure development and best practices for implementation• Educates the screening implementation leads within accounts on identifying ideal approaches and pathways to improve access to screening for patients• Works with external stakeholders and internal cross functional partners to identify local/regional screening barriers and develop action plans for resolution• Collaborates with local and regional patient advocacy groups to improve education about screening for their communities• Coordinates with matrix team and other critical functions to share logistical information and relevant insights about shared accounts• Meets documentation requirements in CRM system to facilitate tracking of critical metrics• Delivers on key objectives established annually• Must be able to travel extensively (50-70%)• Ensures full compliance with all corporate and industry policies and legal and regulatory requirementsAbout YouBasic Requirements• Bachelor’s degree required• Advanced degree, healthcare-related professional certification, or 4+ years’ experience in diabetes required• Clinical practice and healthcare administration experience preferred• 2+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience preferred• Strong communication and presentation skills in English required• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred• Experience in the following specialties preferred; Type 1 Diabetes, Endocrinology, AutoimmuneWhy Choose Us?• Bring the miracles of science to life alongside a supportive, future-focused team.• Discover endless opportunities to grow your talent and drive your career, whether it’s through a promotion or lateral move, at home or internationally.• Enjoy a thoughtful, well-crafted rewards package that recognizes your contribution and amplifies your impact.• Take good care of yourself and your family, with a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits including high-quality healthcare, prevention and wellness programs and at least 14 weeks’ gender-neutral parental leave.The salary range for this position is $100,500.00 - $134,000.00 USD Annual.
