SAP FICO Consultant

Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant
Company Location: Pune, India

Purpose:

The purpose of the job is to understand the client requirements and effectively translate the captured requirements into technical/ functional deliverables. The role holder acts at the bridge between the customer and the delivery teams.

Key Accountabilities:
  • 5+ years of implementation/support project experience in Finance & Controlling modules
  • At least 2 end-to-end implementation and support project experience in Finance & Controlling modules.
  • Proven SAP functional consulting experience in a customer-facing role with industry leading clients in the concerned domain, preferably in manufacturing & service sector
  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials & Controlling (focus on General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis)
  • Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules
  • Candidate must have strong problem solving skills, be self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Should able to lead business process workshops, design business processes, write specifications, configure system, test, and train business users
  • Excellent interpersonal organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers

Context:
As Avinash Humbrey has decided to move out of Wuerth IT, a replacement resource has to be identified to support any FICO requirements.

Knowledge/Skills Required:
Must Have: (Not more than 4 each)
  • Thorough understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes.
  • Experience in SAP FICO Configuration and integration with other functional modules like MM, SD, PP and PS
  • S/4 HANA business process knowledge
  • Thorough understanding of G/L, AR, AP, AA, Product costing, CO-PA
  • Strong Domain experience, min 3 yrs
  • Ability to communicate with international client. Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare Functional specifications for any development requirement. Should be capable to work with technical team
Nice to Have: (Not more than 4 each)
  • Knowledge of third party tool interface is an added.
  • Understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes

Qualifications Required:
  • Commerce graduate/ MBA (Finance) is required
  • Preferably CA
  • Certification/trainings preferably
