Role

As SecOps Lead you will oversee and continuously improve the Security Incident Response (IR) process, ensuring swift and effective detection, containment, and remediation of security incidents while minimizing business impact.

Further Tasks:

  • IR Team Management & Development – Lead and mentor the SecOps Team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, operational excellence, and proactive threat mitigation.
  • Security Engineering & Platform Management – Design, build, and manage security platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel, Azure security technologies, firewalls, and other security infrastructure to protect internal systems and support SaaS products.
  • Threat Detection & Monitoring Strategy – Develop and optimize security monitoring, detection, and response strategies, leveraging advanced security tools and automation to enhance the organization’s security posture.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance – Work closely with IT, DevOps, and business teams to align security operations with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, ensuring a holistic security approach across all environments.

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in security operations, incident response, or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with security platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel, Azure security technologies, firewalls, and other security infrastructure.
  • Incident Response: Proven track record in leading and managing security incident response processes, including detection, containment, and remediation.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a security operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive threat mitigation.
  • Security Engineering: Strong background in designing, building, and managing security platforms and infrastructure.
  • Threat Detection: Expertise in developing and optimizing security monitoring, detection, and response strategies, with a focus on leveraging advanced security tools and automation.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with IT, DevOps, and business teams to align security operations with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security issues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to stay current with evolving security threats, technologies, and industry trends.
