Start Date: This is a year-round internship opportunity. We’ll help you grow professionally, find (or further) your passion, and make memorable connections that last beyond the summer.  The IoT Analytics group at SAS is responsible for developing tools to analyze high frequency and high dimensional IoT data for applications in the areas of dimension reduction, anomaly detection, recommendation systems, time frequency analysis, and digital signal processing.As an intern, you might be:• researching streaming data analysis methodologies and investigating various algorithms suitable for analysis of sensor generated data,• performing hands on work with SAS’s tools to do statistical analysis of sensor generated data, and• checking the numerical correctness of the algorithms implemented and their comparison with the current state of the art.Required Qualifications• PhD student majoring in Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research• You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2025.• Familiar with streaming data analysis, machine learning, and numerical linear algebra.• Have hands on experience in applying machine learning algorithms.• You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable.
