Your main responsibility is to develop and execute the sales strategy for Scaler. This will require a focus on attracting new clients and building positive relationships with partners (such as consultants and industry associations) in the real estate sector.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a business development strategy that meets (or preferably exceeds) our growth targets
Increase client base by identifying and managing a pipeline of leads and opportunities
Build and establish productive relationships with leads
Provide sales input on market needs and pricing to ensure product success
Partner with consultants and potential clients to understand their business needs and objectives, feeding these into the product development process
Work closely with colleagues on opportunities, marketing materials and case studies
Develop in-depth knowledge of market trends and needs and use that to help guide or product roadmap
Represent Scaler at external international events, conferences, working groups, etc.
Requirements
5+ years experience in successful attainment of sales targets within the investment, asset management or financial sector. Experience with ESG and/or Real Estate sectors is preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field such as investment, real estate, infrastructure, business, economics or sustainable finance
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result- and mission-driven environment
Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
Extensive experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive)
Proven ability to juggle multiple opportunity pursuits at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, commercial and interpersonal skills
Strong industry networks and the ability to further develop these
Fluency in English is mandatory, both verbal and written
