THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Remote Operations Center (ROC) Lead, you will be responsible for remotely supporting field operations execution team with reliability, integrity, regulatory and compliance, as well as maintenance and operations scheduling. As an integral member of the ROC team, you will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in real time to ensure the optimization of production while minimizing operation costs. You will conduct all daily activities within the framework of our corporate policies while demonstrating safety as a top priority.
You will work out of our Calgary head office, with 7 days on 7 days off, 12 hours/shift schedule on straight day shift.
This is considered a Safety Sensitive Position, and therefore, the successful candidate must be able to pass pre-employment and pre-access drug and alcohol screening and background checks.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
Prepare and distribute daily and weekly schedule for reliability, integrity, regulatory and compliance operations and maintenance activities
Assign appropriate resources and daily schedule to the weekly plan
Schedule all third party service providers, as well as coordinate adjustments (break in work, on demand service providers, etc.) within the 7 day schedule
Screen, plan, and input all ROC work orders in Maximo including changes to resources and schedule; ensure accurate and timely closures
Plan and facilitate the daily scheduling meeting
Produce, analyze and provide recommendations for backlog reports
Build positive working relationships with all ROC and Field Execution teams
WHAT YOU BRING:
8 + years of experience with progressive responsibilities in oil and gas operations or maintenance
Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling
Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Models and promotes safe behaviors in all work environments in accordance with health and safety regulations, corporate policies, procedures and guidelines
Capable of working effectively in an open space work environment with multiple stakeholders
Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and make timely and accurate decisions
Analyze and prioritize situations to solve problems efficiently
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with strong listening skills
