Summary of Job's Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Programmatic Sales Director to lead our programmatic DOOH sales efforts on the West Coast.. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape, strong relationships within the industry, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
As the West Coast Sales Director, you'll act as an ambassador of the Screenverse, evangelizing a diverse portfolio of DOOH media solutions and differentiators.
The Position:
Sales Generation: Leverage existing or identify new prospects, to develop new business opportunities in order to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic recommendations to meet their needs.
Digital Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for your region to drive programmatic revenue growth. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate the market.
Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to senior leadership. Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing clients with regular updates, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
Collaboration: Work closely with client services to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of digital advertising campaigns.
Industry Expertise: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve sales techniques and knowledge through training, industry events, and collaboration with colleagues.
The Requirements:
7+ years experience in a sales/client-facing role for a media company, startup, tech company, or digital advertising company.
Direct-sold and programmatic advertising experience (DOOH a plus).
Familiarity with industry jargon and media metrics.
Excel and PowerPoint proficient.
Proven record of successfully achieving sales and business growth.
Highly strategic, proactive and solution-oriented.
Thrives in a team environment and collaborates well with others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver well-positioned presentations.
Organizational skills with the ability to use available resources to reach solutions.
Able to multitask and prioritize based on account tier and urgency on a daily basis.
Strong analytic skills to deliver reporting insights.
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
