Secoda is looking to add a Talent and People Coordinator co-op student to join our Talent team for Summer 2025 (May-August)! In this role you will support the planning and execution of recruiting and people initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Assist our Talent Acquisition Lead as needed in various projects and tasks to ensure smooth execution of all Talent initiatives. You’ll be flexible in stepping in where needed, providing support across the broader Talent and People Ops function.
Efficiently review and shortlist resumes to identify candidates who best meet the job requirements and Secoda values.
Identify and shortlist passive and exceptional candidates through innovative sourcing strategies and tools.
Provide administrative support on a wide range of Talent and People activities including employee onboarding and offboarding, employer branding.
Assist on special projects and initiatives that improve and scale recruiting processes and outcomes.
Update and maintain employee handbook, employee files, resources, and policies with culture and brand alignment.
Ideate on how to promote Secoda’s employer brand and enhance awareness of our unique value proposition.
Support with event planning and logistics and administration setup for team events and initiatives
All other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
Experience working in an administrative or customer facing capacity
A passion for building relationships and creating exceptional candidate and employee experiences.
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others in a dynamic team environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Hybrid Office Policy (Tuesdays, Thursdays + every other Friday)
We have a beautiful office in Liberty Village (109 Atlantic Ave) and work in a Hybrid schedule with Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Friday as our in-office days. We provide lunch for our team every other Friday.
