About the opportunity:

We are looking for an energetic HR Coordinator to help shape and elevate our employee experience and culture! Reporting directly to the VP of People Operations, you will provide essential support to our People Operations team, helping to ensure smooth and efficient HR processes while also assisting with executive support tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a wide range of HR activities, including onboarding, employee engagement, administrative tasks, event planning and executive coordination in a rapidly growing startup, and your efforts will help propel Jerry to a $5B business by 2030. Jerry is building the first AllCar™ super app to help people optimize all aspects of owning a car – insurance, buy/sell, registration, loans, safety, repairs, parking, etc – a $2T market in the U.S. We started with insurance in 2019, and since then we’ve launched loan refinancing, real-time driving insights, a repair marketplace, car diagnostics, and a GenAI-powered chatbot and voicebot. We have amassed over 5M customers, raised $240M in funding, scaled our revenue 40X and our team to 250 across 7 countries.

How you will make an impact:

  • Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing onboarding materials, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring a welcoming experience for new employees

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including offsite events, virtual celebrations, and in-person gatherings, to elevate team morale and foster a positive work environment

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws by assisting with HR audits and maintaining accurate records. Support the People Operations team in ensuring all employee-related processes adhere to legal and regulatory requirements

  • Act as the executive assistant to the COO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling executive correspondence. Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and other materials for executive meetings

  • Provide administrative support to the People team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence. Assist with special HR and executive projects as needed

Preferred experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Prior internship experience in Human Resources 

  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources and experience in executive support

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and legal requirements

  • Comfortable communicating with C-Suite, leadership, and frontline workers

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Applies solid judgment and ensures integrity, compliance, and confidentiality while handling highly sensitive information

  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Can work onsite at our Palo Alto, CA office
