Security Operations Center (SOC) Analysts are responsible for preventing, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity events at the university. This position is responsible for assisting with analyzing data from a myriad of data sources including but not limited to, Security Incident and Event Management systems, Endpoint Protection Platforms, Firewalls, Vulnerability scanners, and Intrusion Prevention & Detection Systems to detect and respond to potential security incidents and or vulnerabilities and to full fill related service requests. This position takes part in a duty cycle, monitoring tools on a daily basis, and provides 24x7 availability to respond to security events when required.
