Company Description

SEEKA (Owned by Fresh Futures) was a concept conceived in the year 2015 and is now the world's largest Education Search Engine offering over 1 million courses from 45 countries. It specialises in guiding students on their true career paths and helping them with their applications to Colleges/ Universities all around the 45 countries within the SEEKA App itself. The company currently needs Education advisors or Counsellors to be a part of the platform to carry on the projects mission to guide and direct students to the right course path as well as career path even if it means helping them study in a different country. 

We are looking for experienced candidates or ones who specialise in working with students on their course/career choices especially if they want to join a new College/ University.

Job Description

  • To assist students with the application process to colleges and Universities on the SEEKA platform.
  • To guide students towards the right career paths or the diploma/degree they should pursue.
  • To sell the right educational prospects to potential students.
  • To streamline the experience for students applying to higher institutions.
  • Be able to quickly conduct research or adapt quickly to different situations (For example, the student wants to apply to a course being conducted in Europe and you must find out what requirements they need to apply for a student ViSA)
  • To continuously learn on the job and to guide others when needed or be a team player
  • To get colleges to sign up and join the SEEKA platform

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills with both students and parents, locally and internationally. 
  • Willing to take on a challenge when dealing with different sets of College or University requirements as you help students apply. 
  • Coordinating with the sales team and management.
  • Willing to take on more work or work at different times depending on the user and their circumstance (ex. their location and time difference)
  • Sales or a call centre experience
  • Ability to achieve KPIs and sales targets
  • Have strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Time management and negotiation skills
  • Able to emphasis on teamwork and collaboration
  • Be able to effectively communicate in a consultative manner

Additional Information

  • Can be done remotely or in a hybrid work arrangement (Workplace would be in Mont Kiara)
  • There are bonuses based on performance that is beyond expected
