Compliance Auditor

Job Description:KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:• Champion Compliance at SEKO• Report to the Chief Compliance Officer• Collaborate with Operations and IT during audits and to implement corrective actions• Act as Lead Auditor expert to identify risks, assess risk mitigations and drive security improvements in global supply chain security• Conduct evidentiary document reviews, determining compliance with SEKO policies and procedures• Audit preparation and scheduling• Conduct both virtual and onsite audits• Create objective, truthful, accurate, and helpful audit reports• Study both existing and new legislation, enforce obedience to policies and advise management on necessary actions to make sure company complies with local, state and federal legal requirements• Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace. Comply with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures. Co-operate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.• Other duties as assigned by management.REQUIREMENTS:• Experience with e-commerce and Type 86 highly desirable• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities• Detail-oriented and well-organized• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills• Ability to foster strong relationships• Proven understanding of risk assessment and mitigation• Research and reporting skills• Strong statistical analysis skillsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Minimum:• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field• 5+ years of related compliance experiencePreferred:• NoneSPECIALIST CERTIFICATIONS:• Licensed Customs BrokerSEKO Worldwide is an equal opportunity employer.
