Forbes Advisor is a new initiative for consumers under the Forbes Marketplace umbrella that provides journalist- and expert-written insights, news and reviews on all things personal finance, health, business, and everyday life decisions.

We do this by providing consumers with the knowledge and research they need to make informed decisions they can feel confident in, so they can get back to doing the things they care about most.

Forbes Advisor is looking for a dynamic and results-driven SEM Specialist, who
can work on various projects to support its global efforts.


Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Help define performance marketing strategy across Forbes Advisor verticals.
  • Build, execute and optimise performance marketing activities with direct responsibility for results
  • Responsible for all aspects of their digital campaigns from campaign conceptualization, keyword/placement research, account structuring, ad rank improvisations, conversion funnel optimization & reporting.
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns using analysis of data.
  • Continually expand and optimize paid keyword discovery.
  • Research and analyse competitor advertising links.
Requirements:
  • 4+ Years proven SEM experience of successfully managing campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
  • In-depth experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite).
  • Excellent knowledge of CPL, CPA, CPV, and CPM campaigns
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Well-versed in performance marketing٫ conversion٫ and online audience acquisition.
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Understanding of reporting as per Campaign KPIs - Lead Generation, CPL, Conversion, CPA.
  • Should possess excellent quantitative and analytical abilities, with an affinity to work on large datasets. And should be able to generate actionable insights from data analysis that translates to valuable marketing decisions.
  • Proven knowledge of website structure and design, as well as marketing strategies and workflow models.
  • Comfortable with navigating ambiguity on new projects/markets and able to run seamless operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
