OPERATING
Prepare monthly operating financials for Residential properties (Operating Statements, Balance
Sheets, Statements of Cash Flows)
Monitor cash balances and prepare wire transfers
Calculate monthly or quarterly distributions
Balance Sheet/ Trial Balance reconciliations with month end close
Bank Reconciliations
Security Deposit Refund tracking
Edit and approve AP for each entity weekly
Record monthly depreciation and amortization schedules
Prepare monthly reporting packages for 3rd party owners
Calculate sales & use tax
OPS AP invoice audit daily as needed
DEVELOPMENT
Prepare monthly equity and/or bank development draws.
Compare vendor invoices to commitments during draw process.
Monitor cash needs for development projects. Involves working closely with Developer to ensure cash is on hand for critical fees that are due over the course of the project.
Maintain monthly development projections.
Edit and approve monthly Development AP release in conjunction with draw fundings.
Process weekly Development AP only as needed.
Development month-end close.
BS in Accounting
3 to 5 years experience in accounting, real estate accounting preferred
Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook are required
Candidate must be detail- oriented
