Senior Analyst, Sales (sales development representative)
Overview:
Mastercard is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our global sales team. Success in the SDR role requires a hunter-mentality and diligence in following up on leads generated from independent prospecting and marketing programs. This important role directly boosts sales and contributes to Mastercard long-term business growth.
The Global B2B SDR team is responsible for defining a best-in-class Lead Management discipline and scaling it across business units and regions, including to the people, processes, content, technologies, and data.
Role:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Contact prospective clients through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns.
- Assist with onboarding new hires and guiding team members on processes and procedures
- Accurately maintain CRM activity log, pipeline, forecasting and monthly reports.
- Research prospects’ M&A history/strategy.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.
- Consistently reach daily goals of calls and emails.
- Lead the development of performance dashboards, measure performance of activity & KPIs to effectively communicate outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
- Proactively seek to identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and provide solutions based on a broad and deep knowledge of data, resources, and industry best-practices
All About You:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ideal candidate is positive, professional, organized, persistent and eager to learn
- Excellent communications skills and a competitive spirit are essential
- Experience successfully managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to consistently document every connection with prospects into our CRM system
- Over-the-top motivation and creativity to successfully reach prospects and create conversations
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications and Salesforce is strongly preferred
