The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based and Internet accessible systems and services. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer security platforms including the company password vault, public digital certificate site, and corporate email services.

Coordinate with business units to expand capabilities of security management platforms, such as API integration, automation, and SQL script reporting.

Expand compliance with corporate security policies related to Active Directory integrations for service-account management using company password management platform.

Identify cyber risks and provide guidance regarding remediation of gaps to facilitate a hardened environment.

Respond to and resolve cyber incidents using investigative and forensic capabilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS –

3-5 years of IT experience

2-3 years of security experience
-
1+ years of cloud experience

1+ years experience with encryption technologies and digital certificate management

1+ years experience with password management protection platforms

2+ years experience with incident response activities on Windows and Linux systems

1+ years of experience performing cyber incident investigations
-
1+ years experience with running scripts and scripting languages
-
Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, and routing
-
Strong understanding of encryption fundamentals and process flows
-
Strong experience in Microsoft Office365 and Active Directory security components and capabilities
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to troubleshoot security problems independently

Ability to accurately document major security incident reports viewable by executive leaders

Ability to properly handle confidential and sensitive information

Ability to pass US federal government background investigation
