Senior Communications Manager

Yext is seeking an External Communications Senior Manager to join its brand and communications team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in owning the communications efforts and growing awareness of the Yext platform. In the position, you will collaborate closely with senior executives, business partners, and PR agencies to implement the external communications plan and drive impactful communication strategies globally.

What You'll Do

Own the development of the external communications plan and manage its execution in collaboration with agency partners globally
Build and scale a communications program that effectively showcases the company's innovation across its digital experience platform and customer successes
Drive external communications initiatives that highlight Yext thought leadership targeting both business and developer audiences
Identify, engage, and support key influencers, contributors, and advocates to amplify Yext's brand messaging
Collaborate with colleagues across the business to build and distribute technical content, including blog posts, press releases, contributed articles, and more
Establish a performance framework to measure the success of external communications programs and support key performance indicators

What You Have

8+ years of experience in external communications or public relations
Strong technical background and experience working with databases, search engines, and/or vector search technology
Familiarity with machine learning, AI, or data analytics technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences
Demonstrable experience in creating technical content such as press releases, contributed articles, and blog posts

The base salary at the time of hire for this position is expected to be between $116,550 - $194,500. Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee's job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits, and successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.
