Join Our Provider Financial Services (PFS) Division
ECG’s PFS Division works with providers to design strategies that drive alignment while being sustainable, scalable, and adaptable. As part of our team, you’ll help physician and executive leadership make informed decisions that can alter the course of their enterprises in areas such as physician alignment, affiliations between providers, provider compensation planning, valuing services in support of business relationships and acquisitions, and more.
Our team develops solutions for improving performance in hospitals, physician groups, and their affiliated organizations. We partner with our clients in the development and design, implementation, and administration of physician and advanced practice provider compensation strategies, balancing their goals of market competitiveness, equity, financial sustainability, and regulatory compliance. We work with our clients to develop innovative economic arrangements that align with organizational performance and facilitate growth. In addition, we provide transaction advice and expert opinions related to the value of business enterprises, employment and independent contract arrangements, and various asset categories.

Your Responsibilities May Include:

Leading appropriate client presentations.

Leading information-gathering efforts.

Conducting stakeholder interviews.

Assisting in developing and managing work plans, schedules, and budgets.

Leading project management.

Analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting data to inform client recommendations.

Using financial modeling to conduct in-depth analyses and recommend executable strategies.

Defining project analyses and deliverables.

Leading teams and implementing recommended solutions.

Working on multiple engagements.

Communicating project progress and seeking input.

Identifying follow-on opportunities and helping scope and close such engagements.

Working closely with multiple project teams and ECG senior consulting leaders.

Presenting results to our clients C-suite leaders.

Taking responsibility for project outcomes.

Communicating effectively with management and executive-level client staff.

Learning about ECG’s breadth of solutions and identifying those that reflect personal and professional interests.

Participating in peer and junior staff knowledge development and career advancement.

Our Expectations of You

Passion for the healthcare industry
-
Master’s degree in business administration and/or master’s degree in a health-related field
-
3-plus years of experience in healthcare consulting strongly preferred; will also consider progressive responsibility in a health care environment
-
Proven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects
-
Demonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skills
-
History of strong client and/or patient service
-
Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilities
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
-
Strong written and verbal presentation skills
-
Ability to travel at least 60% of the time
