Job Description


As a Content Manager, you will be responsible for creating, managing and executing with the help of your own team the content strategy across all marketing channels, including campaigns, social media and the blogs. The role presents a great opportunity to revitalise our content approach to ensure that messaging and positioning is unified, engaging and consistent, to further grow our brands.

You will work closely with and inspire your team of five, regularly catching up to ensure that content plans are efficiently rolled out. The role is a prominent position within the wider marketing team, with the ability to influence and determine the direction that the brand strategy goes in. You will therefore enjoy being in this position and forming positive working relationships with your colleagues and taking a proactive approach to initiating new ideas and conversations and ensure that our brands go from strength to strength.


  • Lead and manage the Content team, consisting of Marketing Executives and Copywriters, and ensure high quality and relevant content is delivered on time and to the highest standard
  • Develop content strategies and create high-quality content for social media, marketing campaigns, new products and the blog
  • Analyse and report on content performance metrics to continually optimise content strategy across all distribution channels and ensure that goals are being met
  • Proactively work with the content team to ensure that marketing materials contain up to date content, and that this is engaging and on-brand
  • Maintain close relationships with the Operations and Sales teams in order to understand the business and harness knowledge gained to inspire the content strategy
  • Work closely with the Acquisition team on the creation of content to support SEO, paid social activities and reviving CRM user journeys
  • Devise content plans to promote new products and schools that are inspiring and engaging
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective and robust roll-out and tracking of content campaigns
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and teams across the business to ensure our content approaches are fit for purpose and allow us to grow
  • Develop strong materials, tools, and key messages to support the broader marketing team to fully engage and execute brand strategy with ease and understanding
  • Collaborate with principals, teachers and students to create and share content that motivates prospects to sign up to our courses
  • Manage and delegate day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure everything is running smoothly and on time

Qualifications

  • What we are looking for:

  • Significant digital marketing experience (3 years)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to clearly articulate ideas and offer unique solutions to challenges, verbally, written and visually
  • Experience of campaign development and delivery; development of brand and social media strategy
  • Development and execution of strategic content plans using the full marketing mix
  • Proficiency in devising, implementing, and supporting brand awareness and lead generation activities across multiple difference marketing distribution channels
  • Effective project management skills
  • Desirable: Experience or background in the language travel industry

  • What you need to have:

  • Extremely high degree of attention to detail and organisation skills, able to prioritise information and time to meet business needs and focus resource for maximum return on investment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with natural leadership qualities to inspire and motivate both team and business
  • People and line management skills, with proven judgement, demonstrating drive, influence, and collaboration
  • Strategic thinking capabilities evidenced by successful delivery of projects in a previous marketing role
  • High proficiency in core marketing principles and practices, including brand development and positioning, integration of messages
  • Compelling interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Thrive on working in a fast moving environment in an international business
  • Experience of leading and project managing multiple brand campaigns
  • Up to date knowledge of marketing trends and industry best practice
