POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you an experienced copywriter with a passion for creating inspiring and energetic content for direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical brands? Our creative advertising agency is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic senior copywriter to join our team. As a senior copywriter, you will work closely with the creative team to develop and execute creative concepts across a range of mediums, including print, digital, social media, and broadcast. You will be responsible for creating compelling and effective copy that resonates with our clients' target audiences and meets their objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Skilled writer, who is able to perform in a broad spectrum of advertising disciplines
  • Ideate copy for pitches, campaigns and special projects
  • Review and edit all copy for clarity and proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Present concepts at presentations in a organized, professional, and effective style.
  • Collaborate and partner with art director to ensure that both the copy and visuals are in perfect sync to make the concept to our Famously Effective standard.
  • Generating and executing an idea from concept to completion across a broad spectrum of mediums that align with the Creative Brief.
  • Writing and annotating medical claims within tactics.
  • Receive and implement feedback from creative leads
  • Communicate daily with Account Services, Strategy, and Project Management team members to ensure all deliverable and deadlines are met.
  • Begin to build client relationships by participating in client meetings, delivering high quality conceptual thinking and contributing to thoughtful discussion.
  • Proactively managing projects and your own workload.
  • Remain current on industry trends, pop culture, and technology

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • At least 4 years of industry experience in a well-established, creative role with a proven track record.
  • At least 2 years of DTC pharmaceutical advertising experience.
  • Experience working across relevant mediums based on client needs (emails, banners, social, websites, print).
  • Experience with writing and annotating medical claims.
  • Strong creative portfolio highlighting relevant experience.
  • Solid written & verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to all levels of clients.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $100,000 to $115,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
