Position Title: Sr Data Scientist, Product 

About the role

LTK’s Data Science department is an integral component of the company’s Central Technology mission, playing a key role in the organization's general data-driven transformation. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be a technical leader and core contributor within a growth-hungry, acceleration minded team of problem solvers and product-builders. We thrive in an extremely dynamic environment, focusing relentlessly on the needs of our different customers (brands, creators, and consumers.) We seek thought-partners who can collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and marketing teams to deliver quality solutions rapidly.

How you will make an impact

• Serve as mentor for other data scientists
• Work with finance analysts, developers, and others to cater predictive models to fit stakeholder needs
• Own design and development machine learning, sophisticated algorithms and processes such as outlier detection, forecasting, decision trees etc…
• Leverage Python, and SQL for exploratory analytics, feature engineering, and advanced mathematical modeling
• Assumption validation through data analysis, clustering, and predictive modeling
• Leverage cloud technologies to deploy and integrate predictive and prescriptive models into operational applications
• Help establish replicated process such as APIs or batch jobs through tools such as Databricks or Sagemaker
• Offer opinions for process improvements, onboarding of new individuals, and other team development operations

What you will bring to LTK

• Experience building forecasting models to predict measures like demand, revenue, or sales
• Previously deployed a scaled, reusable predictive model
• Experience working with version control systems like github, reviewing other’s code and having yours reviewed
• Knowledge of Python and SQL for data processing, analysis and model development
• Experience collaborating with engineering, finance, analytics and/or product management teams to design and develop Data Science products
• Ability to converse fluently about fundamental areas of machine learning, including but not limited to exploratory analysis, feature engineering, sampling, validation, monitoring and stakeholder management
• AWS deployment experience preferred; cloud deployment experience required
• Experience working on a remote team and coaching, or mentoring data science team members requiredLI-RemoteLI-BN
