About the Opportunity:
This role is 100% remote with up to 25% travel within the United States.
Ellucian serves over 74 systems and consortiums – and is an EdTech market leader who is passionate about higher education, innovation, and student success. We are seeking an experienced leader who wants to accelerate the positive impact a higher education system experiences with a focus on senior system level relationship building and enhancing our internal processes to best support our system customers. This is a high impact role, making a positive difference in our system customers overall experience with Ellucian.
This Senior Director of Higher Education Systems role will lead Ellucian’s customer success approach with a focus on the North Carolina Community College system, comprised of 58 public community colleges, enrolling over 500,000 students, and establishing practices that will scale to serve other systems, including the State University of New York (SUNY), one of the largest comprehensive systems of universities, colleges, and community colleges in the United States.
Focus on outcomes at the system-level, in the areas of customer satisfaction, adoption and optimization.Lead and coordinate cross-divisional activities, driving customer success for large systems of higher education, with a focus on the North Carolina Community College system and SUNY. Ensure strategic transformation through collaborative engagements, in alignment with system priorities.

Leading our system-wide approach, managing, and coordinating executive leadership relationships with a primary focus on the North Carolina Community College system and SUNY

Serving as champion for system-level strategic initiatives that ensure the best experience, driving defined system-level outcomes.

Removing internal barriers that negatively impact the system-level experience; collaborating across Ellucian to maintain a cohesive, proactive support approach.

Establishing scalable, repeatable approaches that focus on the system-level customer journey in their transformation.

Managing to metrics that demonstrate success for our system customers.
What you will bring
-
Seven+ years’ experience working at a leadership level with higher education systems or consortiums, either within a system or consortium or in a business partnership capacity

Deep experience understanding the needs and goals of higher education systems or consortiums.
Ability to command credibility through executive presence and effective communication at the system leadership level (Chancellor, System C-Level); polish to work directly with senior leaders. -
Demonstrated experience working across organizational boundaries to remove barriers for key stakeholder success.

Ideal candidate has lived the day in the life of a higher education leader, understanding the unique needs of higher education, especially within a system or consortium.

Emphasis on relationship building, facilitating, public speaking and presentations as well as establishing practicing that scale support.

Solid understanding of the role technology serves in supporting higher education systems or consortiums.

Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability and desire to innovate, create and develop enhanced approaches for systems and consortiums.
